Why does my outside tap always leak

Have you ever fitted a new fitting on your out door tap and it always leaks, or you have changed your tap and this new tap leaks, you cant stop it , this may be the issue .

Due to the design of some outdoor Bib Taps when the fittings are screwed on they will foul the tap body before the washer seals to the brass of the tap.

Easy solution , just insert an extra washer into the bottom of the fitting to ensure you have a gas as shown in the above photo.
